madang is famous for its flying foxes(large fruit eating birds).
During the war Madang was used by the Allied troops as a major camp base, and the frontline to ant Japanese air raids or bombardment by warships.

This is Mobile, Able and the rest is a beautiful sence with mini PMV buses pulling into the road side bus stop.
Its a beautiful view. Looking from modilon road, at end of Tusbab secondary School, to Rai coast bay.
Just behind the DWU brothers hall (boys Dormitory), heavy rains usually leave floods like this. The white buildings belong to SVD missionaries.
Inside DWU, the scenes don't come any better. I went there for a walk once or twice.
